Maskey welcomes Crescent Arts funding
South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Cllr Alex Maskey has welcomed today's news that the Crescent Arts Centre is to receive an additional £2million in funding from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure.
Cllry Maskey said,
"I welcome this move and commend the ongoing work of the Crescent Arts Centre; they are a longstanding organisation which has worked tirelessly to make the arts accessible to local communities here in Belfast.
I wish them all the very best for the exciting times that lie ahead and I have no doubt they will continue to go from strength to strength."
